CORTALIM: The Cortalim police outpost and Cortalim post office were shifted to new premises at Manxer, near the Cortalim Cross Junction, in order to make way for construction of a new market complex at Cortalim fish market.
The shifting has come as a big relief especially to the cops who were housed in a small two-room concrete structure.
“This office space is much better. It has better ventilation and will not cause discomfort in monsoon since the previous premises terrace would leak,” a constable told Herald and added that some minor repairs to the roof and toilet was remaining.
