Every year at Budget time, new trains are announced. The impression given to the public is that something good is being done for their travel. In reality very few people benefit from these services as the timings when these trains pass through Goa is very inconvenient to the traveller. Besides when we go to the booking counter, there are never any vacant slots for the Goan public.
The Railway authorities must advise what are the allotted seats for Goans on these so called Express or special trains. Or are the Goans taken for a ride with the fictitious announcements?
