A dowry harassment case has been registered at Ponda police station after a woman from Khadpaband-Ponda accused her husband and in-laws of subjecting her to mental cruelty and physical assault for not bringing dowry.
According to the complaint, the alleged abuse occurred between June 8 and June 28, 2025. During this period, the woman claims she was repeatedly harassed, assaulted, and mentally tortured by the accused, who acted with common intention.
