MANDREM: Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School, Arambol, defeated our Lady of Rosary High School, Mandrem, 9-1 and moved into the final of the U-14 girls Pernem Taluka Subroto Mukherjee football tournament organised by DSYA at Mandrem ground on Thursday.
Mount Carmel’s captain Pearl Fernandes was the undoubted star with her dribbling and shooting power which brought her four goals.

Serina Lobo scored two goals while Sensia Rodrigues, Tannu Singh and Vallankani Montero netted a goal each. Vishwaja Gaonkar scored a consolation.
After scoring five in the first half, Mount Carmel pumped in another four. They now play Vidhyaprasarak High School, Morjim, in Friday’s final.
