PANJIM: United Club of Utorda in association with Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) Utorda centre organized football events for the trainees, at Utorda ground, on Friday.
GFDC’s Albino D’Costa, Francis Morais, Ligorio Braganza, Augustino Cardozo and coaches Joaquim Fernandes and Lynette Vaz conducted small sided matches for the trainees under different age group including a special match for girls.
The festival was part of the extended GFDC’s second anniversary celebrations.
Salvador Antao, a sports lover was the chief guest and speaking on the occasion he lauded the club for their good work.
Earlier, president of United Club of Utorda, Agnelo Pereira welcomed. Secretary Trindade Fernandes later proposed the vote of thanks. Anthony Pereira compered.
