General of the United Nations, is reported to have demanded compensation from Britain for their colonial regime in India for about 200 years.
The British Government could agree (and they could afford as well) to shell out more than 325 billion pounds sterling that could double our foreign reserve. I think any Indian would be more interested in demanding an apology for two centuries old exploitation of our economic resources which made an average Indian poor and depressed as well.
Further apologies for introducing educational system of schools, colleges and universities where non-upper caste students could develop their intellectual abilities, health system with hospitals and dispensaries. For
burdening India with railways, roads, harbours, postal facilities, telegraphs, water and electricity supply, urban drainage system and what have you
And above all, apologies for creating a politically united Indian sub continent, a feat that could have never been achieved by our glorious Maharajas ably supported by Brahmin advisers in the entire annals of Indian history.
