MARGAO: Salcete PE Teachers demolished Canacona PE Teachers 9-1 in the PE Teachers futsal tournament in memory of Braz Rodrigues organised by Salcete PE Teachers Association, at DBO Fatorda ground, on Wednesday
Jelies Gracias netted a hat-trick while Freddy Gomes and Francis Fernandes scored a brace each. Chandresh Naik and Chadwick Furtado added their names to the scoresheet. Milroy Fernandes scored the only goal for Canacona. Jelies Gracias was named man-of-the-match.
In the second match, Tiswadi PE Teachers prevailed over Ponda PE Teachers 4-2. Atul netted a hat-trick while Amit also scored for Tiswadi. Pralay Gaude and Tushar Kuttikar scored a goal each for Ponda.
Atul Kankonkar was named man-of-the-match.
