During the last few years, lots of development has taken place in Goa. Many new departments have been baptised to control the developments. We had never heard of CRZ, (Coastal Regulation Zone), air & water consent to operate, Green Tribunal etc, but the most needed department is ‘Corruption Control Department’. There is not a single government department where there is no corruption. Corruption is rampant during the last few years. A minister for corruption control should be appointed and given independent charge. The politicians involved in corruption should not be given a chance to contest the election.
