Authorities in Gautam Buddh Nagar district have ordered the closure of all schools from nursery to Class 12 on Wednesday in view of heavy rain forecasts. The directive covers institutions under the Basic Education Department, government-aided schools, and those affiliated with the CBSE, ICSE and Madrasa Board.
According to the official order, while students will get the day off, teaching and non-teaching staff in basic education and composite schools must report on time and carry out their regular departmental duties.
