A gruesome incident unfolded in Odisha’s Nayagarh district as a 35-year-old man, Arjun Bagha, allegedly murdered his 30-year-old wife, Dharitri, suspecting her of having an extra-marital affair. Shockingly, Bagha walked into the Banigochha police station, brandishing his wife’s severed head, confessing to the crime. The horrifying act created panic among police officials and witnesses. Bagha used a sharp weapon to kill his wife before decapitating her.
Authorities have detained Bagha, and an investigation is underway. The police also recovered the headless torso of the victim.
