Interacting with government officials of the deputy collector, mamlatdar and BDO at Tisk-Ponda, Parsekar said people have been blaming the government for inaction or delay in administrative matters.
“This should be stopped henceforth. There should be control over staff as indiscipline will not be tolerated in future. Complaint in this regard will be dealt with strictly,” Parsekar asserted.
He directed the mamlatdar and other officers to ensure that their staff is diligent in providing services in a time-bound manner.
“Whenever employees are on leave, officials should see to it that alternate arrangements are done in advance, so that public do not suffer,” he said.
The chief minister was accompanied by North Goa Collector Nila Mohanan. Deputy Collector Johnson Fernandes, local BJP chief Sunil Desai and acting PMC chairperson Shantaram Colvekar were also present.
