Though Dhoni’s bravehearts finished second best in their World Cup semifinal clash against Australia the team deserves a round of applause.
Written off after a win-less streak ‘Down Under’ preceding the mega event the team put up an exceptional show on the way to the semis, winning seven matches on the trot.
The team should also take solace from the fact that the Kangaroos were at their best and knew the conditions at the back of their hand. It is unfortunate that many fans choose to vent their spleen on the cricketers in the social media and on the streets after the loss.
These miscreants would do well to remember the phrase ‘everyday is not Sunday’ and revere the team for what it has done.
