MAPUSA: Mapusa Police arrested a bus driver Siddhesh Naik, 37 years of age, resident of Revora, with suspected drugs at Mapusa bus stand on Saturday afternoon.

During the raid, the Police apprehended the alleged accused possessing suspected narcotic substance to be ganja weighting 107 grams worth Rs 10,000.
The alleged accused person is a driver by profession and is driving a bus plying on Calangute-Mapusa route. It was also revealed that the accused person was using the drug substance for personal consumption.
The police have arrested the driver and also seized the bus bearing registration number GA-01 Z 7446.
A case has been registered under NDPS Act. PSI Anil Kolekar is further investigating into the case.
