PANJIM: Gomantak Bhandari Samaj (GPS) has expressed solidarity with the mining dependents and supported the demand for an early resumption of mining activities.
GBS General Secretary Upendra Naik speaking to the media said “Many are rendered jobless owing to the closure and 70 percent of those are from Bhandari community. We therefore support the demand by Goa Mining People’s Front (GMPF) demanding an early resumption of mining.”
