A 13-year-old girl from Nagamasjid-Ponda committed suicide at her residence on Sunday morning.
According to Ponda police, Priya Ghadi committed suicide by hanging herself in her room. The incident came to light on Sunday at about 10 am.
Police informed that the girl was studying in a school at Curti-Ponda and had a good academic record and the reason behind the death is not yet known. Police is investigating the case.
