PANJIM: Ansiva Vaz scored a double hat-trick to lead Rosary College, Navelim to a 14-0 win over PES College of Pharmacy, Farmagudi in the Goa University football championship for women, at Goa University ground on Friday.
Ansiva was brilliant for the Navelim College as she tormented the opponents with her speed and skills.
Malifa Rodrigues, Willma Fernandes and Mable Mascarnehas scored a brace each while Aloyshka Fernandes and Vega Fernandes scored one each for the winners.
In another match, PCCE defeated Goa Multi Faculty, Dharbandora 1-0.
Liza Miranda scored the only goal for PCCE.
Earlier, SS Dempo College defeated Chowgule College 3-0.
Anushka Viegas scored two and Leena Gaunso scored one for the winner. Don Bosco defeated Zantye College, Bicholim 9-0.
Aniee Esteibero scored four goals, Macrenna Dias netted two while Sancia Mendes, Marissa Rodrigues and Pooja Singh score one goal each for winners.
On Thursday, DM’S College, Assagao defeated MES College 2-0 via the tie breaker as the match was tied in a goalless draw at the end of normal regulation time.
