Goa to participate at IITF in New Delhi

The India International trade fair will be held in New Delhi from November 14 to 27. This year, since Goa is completing 50 years of its liberation, the participation is dedicated to sustainable development in its purest sense thereby preserving environment and local culture, which helping to generate income, employment and conservation of local eco system.
The Goa Pavilion will highlight Goa as a tourist destination having projects like water sports, national games, amusement park, golf course, marina, health tourism, convention centre, oceanarium and others.
The Tourism industry perspective is being presented in consultation with Department of Tourism, Goa Tourism Development Corporation, travel and Tourism Association of Goa and other stakeholders, so that a positive image of Goa is well presented.
The entire effort of presenting industry perspective is entrusted to Department of Industries, Trade and Commerce in collaboration with GHSSIRDC, GCCI, KVIB and other stakeholders. Private entrepreneurs also have been given space in the Goa Pavilion. The prospective of Agriculture and horticulture in Goa will also be showcased at the Goa Pavilion.
As part of programmes at the Goa pavilion, November 18, will be celebrated as Goa day where Goa’s Cultural ethos will be displayed at the programme to be organized at Lal Chowk Theatre at the prestigious Pragati Maidan at 5 pm where Chief Minister, Digambar Kamat will be the Chief Guest. The function will be attended by other council of ministers and people from Delhi and Goa.
