MARGAO: The Indian practitioners of Falun Dafa held protests at Margao municipal garden to express their deep anguish over the persecution of their fellow practitioners in China. The Association has urged India to condemn the alleged violations against the ancient exercise and meditation practice.
At least 10 activists of the Association held silent protests at Margao garden on Sunday. The activists were called to the police station after they were seen protesting. However, they managed to convince the police of their way of protests.
The President of the Falun Dafa Association of India Vinod Pursani told that Falun Dafa is a peaceful meditation practice for the mind and body and is practiced in over 114 countries around the world including India.
