MARGAO: Lamenting on the achievements of Navelim Zilla Panchayat candidate Adv Pratima Coutinho, the Congress on Thursday agreed that the ghosts of the defection of their MLAs are still questioned by the people.
Adv Pratima Coutinho, Seema Fernandes, All India Mahila Congress in Incharge Goa, Vice President of Mahila Congress Beena Naik, and others were present at the press briefing.

While commending the works of Adv Pratima, Seema said that the Congress will see a new dawn in Goa through the Navelim Constituency ZP election.
Adv Pratima said, “When I went for door to door campaign, I was questioned regarding the defection of Congress MLAs. I said the Congress has also faced the same betrayal that the people have felt.”
She said that she has requested the people to vote for the Hand Symbol and strengthen the hands of Congress.
