The no trust motion against the Seraulim sapranch was moved by the four-member group, comprising of deputy Sarpanch Policarpo D’Cruz, Seema Shanke, Agnelo Joaquim Da Silva and Francisco Rebello.
The signatories had charged the Sarpanch for failing to take the members into confidence, besides failing to undertake development and to stop illegal constructions. The motion is likely to come up for voting later this month. The allegations were firmly denied by the ousted Sarpanch during discussions on the no trust motion.
In respect of Loutolim village Panchayat, the no confidence motion was tabled against the Sarpanch by Sergio Diago Fernandes, Pascoal D’Costa, Sukanya Naik, Mario Fernandes and Catarina Jaime Fernandes.
