President Parshuram Sonurlekar said the NGO had complained to the Mormugao Municipal Council Chief Officer several times on the illegal encroachments on the footpaths in MMC jurisdiction. Sadly, there has been no action so far in this regard except against a few selected vendors by the authorities.

The concerned authorities have turned a blind eye to the encroachment by occupants of Shop 1 and 34 over the years.
