MARGAO: Unknown persons broke into a closed flat in a busy area near Panzorconi, Cuncolim and stole household articles including a television. The estimated cost of the stolen property is Rs 50,000.
Based on a complaint Cuncolim police have registered a case under Section 457 and Sec 380 of IPC against unknown persons.

According to owner, the flat was closed for some months as he was in Maharashtra. The culprits decamped with three water taps from the bathroom, a television set and other articles all worth Rs 50,000.
