CALANGUTE: In a bid to enhance community safety, the Calangute police conducted a special tenant verification drive on Tuesday to encourage landlords to verify their tenants’ information, helping prevent potential criminal activities.

“Tenant verification is crucial for maintaining law and order. We urge landlords to take advantage of this opportunity. This drive will help create a safer environment for residents,” Calangute police said.
Over 500 tenants have been verified in the last quarter, with a 20% increase in verification requests, police said.
