PANJIM: Shree Damodar College outsmarted Chowgule College 2-0 sets in an all Margao finals to win inter-collegiate tennis championship for men, organized by Goa University, at BPS court, Margao.
In the finals, Nishad Shevde thrashed Dryden Rodrigues 7-0. Akshay Kamath outplayed Filbert Pereira 7-5.
In the initial rounds, Shree Mallikarjun College, Canacona outplayed Don Bosco Engineering, Fatorda 2- 0. Rosary College, Navelim blanked PCCE, Verna 2-0. Chowgule College, Margao got the better of Shree Mallikarjun College, Canacona 2-0. Shree Damodar College, Margao outplayed Rosary College, Navelim 2-0.
