PANJIM: The Goa Raj Bhavan has decided to remain close for visitors for one week till January 23 after many of their staff tested positive for COVID-19 infection.
In a press communication issued by Governor’s Joint Secretary Gaurish Shankhwalkar, it is said that in view of rising COVID-19 cases and as many staff of Raj Bhavan having been tested positive, it has been decided that Raj Bhavan will remain closed to visitors for one week until January 23.
He also said that all letters, files and correspondence will be received only at the main gate of Raj Bhavan. In case of any exigencies or urgent matter, visitors or public are directed to contact the officer for further guidance.
