CURCHOREM: Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral felicitated the football team members of Guardian Angel Sports Club (GASC), Curchorem at a special function, held at Ravindra Bhavan auditorium, Margao, on Saturday.
Congratulating the team members, officials and coaches Severino Fernandes, Narcisco Fernandes and Franky Fernandes for qualifying to the GFA’s Professional League from the First Division, Cabral urged the players to work with even more dedication to achieve success in sports.
Cabral assured his support to promote sports in his constituency for the benefit of the youth. “Commitment is required from the heart to achieve success in any field,” said Cabral and urged the players to be more responsible to make sports as their career along with education.
GASC President, Johncy Fernandes thanked MLA Cabral for his strong support and showing keen interest in sports activities.
