RAIA: Mt Mary’s HSS of Chinchinim and Fr Agnel Multipurpose HSS of Verna will clash in the finals of the U-17 Salcete Taluka Subroto Mukherjee football tournament played at Cuncolim School ground. In the first semis, Mt Mary’s HSS defeated Perpetual Succour Convent HS of Navelim 3-0 on tie-breaker after the match ended in a goalless draw. In the second semis, Fr Agnel Multipurpose HSS of Verna defeated Rosary HS of Navelim by solitary goal. Rio Rodrigues scored the all important goal.
