The Cabinet also approved the Goa State Solar Policy-2017 with amendments and the notification of scheme for promotion of Grid connected Solar Rooftop system with NET Metering Goa Energy Development Agency.
Another decision was also taken to transfer of land acquired by the Water Resources Department at Davorlim in Salcete taluka to the Electricity Department for the construction of 33/11 KV gas insulated Substation
The Cabinet also approved the Water Resources Department Maintenance dredging at mouth of river Sal to clear the sandbar to facilitate the movement of fishing trawlers from Cutbona jetty.
