PANJIM: Following the guidelines of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the State government constituted governing body of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) Committee (Patient’s Welfare Committee) for Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim comprising 19 members.

The Department of Public Health also notified the formation of the Executive Committee of the RKS Committee for GMC, which comprises 16 members.
The governing body for the committee has the Health Secretary as the chairperson and GMC Medical Superintendent as the member secretary.
