Salgaocar FC, Goa Police register big wins

FATORDA: Salgaocar FC (jrs) humbled United Club Telaulim 6-0 in the Geno First Division League organised by Goa Football Association played at Artificial Turf, Fatorda on Thursday.

FATORDA: Salgaocar FC (jrs) humbled United Club Telaulim 6-0 in the Geno First Division League organised by Goa Football Association played at Artificial Turf, Fatorda on Thursday.
The Green Brigade dominated the proceedings of the game with good passes and deep stringent attacks. Salgaocar FC managed to surge ahead finally in the 44th minute after much probing through Ronaldo Oliveira as they went into the break with a 1-0 lead.
On changing sides, nothing worked out well for the Telaulim team as Salgaocar came all out in attack. Caitan Komaprant made it 2-0 in the 49th minute with a neat finish into the nylons while Ronaldo Oliveira went on to complete his hat trick by netting in two quick goals in the 52nd and 54th minute respectively making it 4-0. 
Prajat Mondal added more misery on the Telaulim side in the 70th minute as he too got his name onto the score sheet. 
Later, Rollwin Almeida added another goal in the final minutes making it 6-0 as they demolished the Telaulim side. Ronaldo Oliveira was awarded the Geno Player of the Match for his hat trick performance in the game.
In another game played at Sirsaim ground, Goa Police Sports Club displayed a five star performance against a struggling Holy Cross SC Arambol side, winning the tie 5-0. 
Rohit Pilgaocar opened the scoring in the 19th minute while later he doubled his teams lead and also completed his brace in the 33rd minute with a neat placement which landed into the back of the nets swiftly.
Sachin Chopdekar made it 3-0 just before half time. 
In the second half, Rohit Pilgaocar went on to complete his hat trick in the 53rd minute as he also earned the player of the match. Later, Shaikh Mohazzashaub added his name on the sheet making it 5-0 as the Arambol side failed to impress yet again after suffering huge defeats in this league.
