Cuncolim bazaar was under total shutdown; where even the medical stores and Medical practitioners kept their shutters down to observe the curfew.
The transport system was also under lockdown; no vehicle private or public was seen on the road. Only a newspaper shop was open during morning hours.
Meanwhile, some miscreants spread rumours that some disinfectants or chemicals are going to be sprayed from an aeroplane on Sunday morning. Believing this rumours as true, some quarantined themselves behind closed doors.
The Cuncolim police patrolled the entire area under their jurisdiction throughout the day to prevent anti-socials from taking advantage of the situation and indulged in criminal activities.
