Road digging in Margao seems to be a round-the-year affair but what is always surprising is that after the repairs, the roads are left in a pitiable condition that the daily vehicle drivers have to navigate their vehicles over hilly terrains left after the aftermath of the digging works.
This road at Khareband, Margao is used by people regularly to proceed to Margao on the Comba side but the present state of the road forces both incoming and outgoing vehicles to use one side of the undamaged road risking public lives.
Although many days have passed by since this road digging has been completed, permanent repairs for the road is still awaited. Well, I think the people do not mind as long as their vehicles can move on the road and they reach their destination while the authorities display lack of concern!
