PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is growing in great numbers with several locals voluntarily joining the party following the success of its Veej Andolan campaign.

Addressing the Veej Andolan at Shirgao, AAP leader Vibhas Prabhudesai said, “Only Aam Adami Party can provide 200 units of free electricity to the people of Goa 24 hours a day. That is why Goans should cooperate and bring us to power. Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi is offering various schemes to the people there for free. On the contrary the BJP government in Goa is trying to run our State by taking loans and increasing the debt of Goa. The Delhi government is also providing free water supply to every household up to 20,000 litres per month. BJP government in Goa is still struggling to provide proper supply of drinking water.”
“If our honest party forms government in Goa, the party government will provide free electricity upto 200 units and 50% from 201 to 400 units. The AAP government will be committed to provide various welfare schemes to the people. The AAP in Delhi has brought in change in the government schools and you’ll be amazed with the quality of education and infrastructure of these schools,” he said.
“On the other hand, our Sawant Sarkar is not doing enough towards our schools in Goa and also on quality of education. During the pandemic, the Delhi government under the leadership of Kejriwal distributed free ration to all taxi drivers and also deposited Rs 5000 in their accounts, while our taxi drivers suffered during the pandemic time and did not receive any aid from the government,” he said.
He urged the people of Shirgao to stand with the party and to support it to save Goa from this corrupt BJP rule. Impressed with the AAP’s work in Delhi, the locals at the end of the Veej Andolan meeting joined the party.
