BENAULIM: Carmona SC defeated UC Benaulim 5-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the 28th Super Soccer, played at St John the Baptist ground, Dando-Benaulim, on Sunday.
Joel Fernandes gave Benaulim lead in the 18th minute. Within three minutes Alex equalised for Carmona. In the resultant tie-breaker Carmona proved to be better shooters. Carmona SC will meet the winners of Parish Youth Nuvem and United Boys of Dando, Colva on June 13 in the quarter final.
