CURCHOREM: The rescue team from Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, Netorlim, rescued a one-and-half metre long cobra from a residential area at Khamamoll-Curchorem on Tuesday evening.
The rescued team consisting of Rajesh Velip (snake rescuer), Sulesh Naik (forest guard) and Umesh Gaonkar conducted the operation under the supervision of Forest Range Officer (RFO) Prakash Salelkar.
The rescued cobra will be released at Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, informed Forest Range Officer Salelkar.
