Anjuna Police nab two suspects in drug possession case

CALANGUTE: In a targeted operation on February 1, between 5.45 pm and 7.50 pm in Arpora, Anjuna police arrested two individuals for the illegal possession of narcotics.

Acting on credible information, a narcotic raid was conducted, resulting in the apprehension of 37-year-old Suresh, resident of Solapur, Maharashtra. He was found in possession of 35.31 grams of a psychotropic drug suspected to be heroin,

Additionally, another accused, Suban, 45, residing in Mumbai Suburban, was found with 20.35 grams of heroin, valued at approximately Rs. 5.45 lakh. 

The investigation is currently underway under the supervision of Police Inspector Prashal P N Dessai at Anjuna Police Station, with overall guidance from SDPO Mapusa, Sandesh Chodankar, and SP North Nidhin Valsan, IPS.
