Referring to former ZP Moreno Rebelo message, lamenting about the State’s intention to hand over lakhs of sq metres of land for the proposed IRB camp, Reginaldo spoke about how the villagers of Macazana and Curtorim had also raised objections to the same. The Congress MLA said he too had objected to the it and had raised the issue both inside and outside the House of the State Legislative Assembly.

“I was assured on the floor of the House that the government would withdraw the land marked for IRB,” he said, while adding that the people from the area were also not consulted about the  project.
