Vendor arrested for selling food items at exorbitant prices

vasco: After a video went viral on social media, Vasco police on Thursday, detained one person from the Vasco vegetable market who was found to have been selling onions and potatoes at exorbitant prices to locals during the lockdown period.

The video had called for strict action against the vendor for cheating the locals. 

Sources from the Vasco police informed that one person named Nagraj Uppar (23) resident of Mangoor Hill, Vasco was reportedly selling the goods at Rs.100. Offenses under section 420, 188 and 269 of IPC has been registered against him.
