Jose Agostinho Araujo, aged 66 and a resident of Davondem, died on the spot in the accident that occurred at Don Bosco College road junction.
Kailash Pandit, aged 25, has been seriously injured in this accident. Pandit is a resident of Seraulim.
According to the police, the accident occurred after 7 pm when Kailash riding a motorcycle knocked down Agostinho (who was also on a motorcycle) from behind.
Both were rushed to Hospicio hospital, but Agostinho was declared brought dead.
