PONDA: In a fatal accident, a 38-year-old Sarmesh Veluskar died on the spot after a head-on collision with a car, at Sukhtollem, Mollem, on Thursday night.
According to the Collem Police, the victim Sarmesh was proceeding on his bike towards home, Dhat Farm, Mollem at 11.30 pm from his workplace while the car was proceeding towards Ponda in the opposite direction had a head-on collision. The deceased, who lost his wife last year, is survived by three young children.
