SIOLIM: A car driver and a scooterist were seriously injured in a head-on collision along the Marna-Siolim road on Thursday.
The collision was so formidable that not only did the car collide against the scooter, but it also banged into a transformer and an 11KV electricity pole. The aftermath of this unfortunate event left a trail of destruction, casting a shadow not only on the vehicles involved but also on the surrounding infrastructure. The transformer and the sturdy electrical pole bore the brunt of the collision’s force, resulting in significant damage and subsequent disruption to the local power supply.

Both the injured were shifted to the District Hospital at Mapusa, where they are undergoing further treatment.
