Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s, Goa College of Engineering book semi-finals berth

PANJIM: The Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi, defeated Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margao, by 3 Wickets in the quarter-finals to move into semi-finals of Goa University Inter-Collegiate Cricket Men Championship 2023-24 at Goa University cricket ground, Taleigao Plateau, on Friday.

Goa College of Engineering won the toss and elected to bowl. In the first innings, Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics scored 125 runs for all out 10 in 19.2 overs. Omprakash Lenke 41(30), Rijul Pathak 25 (26). Shreyash Usgaonkar 3/16, Narayan Sawant 2/16.

In the second innings, Goa College of Engineering scored 126 rusn losing 7 wickets in 19.3 overs. Smit Dalvi 32 (38), Venkat Kumar 29 (25). Samprabh Phaldesai 2/27, Saiesh Satardekar 2/16. In the fourth quarter-final match, Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao defeated S S Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Cujira, by eight wickets.

SS Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Cujira, won the toss and elected to bat. In the first innings, SS Dempo College of Commerce and Economics scored 144 runs for all out in 19.5 overs. Aryan Mashelkar 47(41), Yash Manjrekar 24 (26). Namdev Raul 4/19.
