The Bharatiya Janata Party has extended its support to the morcha, organized by the National Highway Diversion Action Committee (NHDAC), on November 2.
The NHDAC, which is opposed to the expansion of NH 17 and NH4A has demanded diversion in alignments suggested for two highways by the government. They are also opposed to fresh alignment suggested by the government for NH4A.
The BJP spokesperson Govind Parvatkar while addressing a press conference on Saturday here said the party has decided to support NHDAC which will take a morcha on Secretariat on Tuesday to press its demand for diversion.
He also criticized the government for its double speaks on expansion of two highways.
