PANJIM: In a bizzare incident, two Goa Police personnel assaulted each other while on duty at the police station in Old Goa.
Both are now facing FIRs under section 160 IPC for fighting in public place.

Sources told Herald that Assistant Sub Inspector Julio Diniz and Head Constable Sameer Fadte began assaulting each other over a petty issue on Saturday evening.
“They are reportedly not in good terms over some reason. On Saturday evening, a fight broke out between the two and what triggered the fight will be probed. We have registered FIR against both for fighting in public place. A report has also been sent to superiors for further action,” the source said.
