Initiating the discussions at the meeting which was also attended by Additional Collector-I, Swapnil Naik, Deputy Collector North, Sheru Shirodkar at Conference Hall of the North Goa Collectorate the Collector instructed the cable operators from North Goa who have attended the meeting to form a local cable operator association from the State by March 9, and send the compliance report to her within 20 days. The digitization of Cable TV Network in the country stipulates digitization of Cable TV Network in the country in
four phases. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has drawn up a road map for timely completion of remaining two phases.
