MARGAO: After house burglaries, thefts of motor vehicles have been reported from Margao in the last few days.
In the first case, a Maruti car parked at Sirvodem near the Masjid was found missing. Owner Sheikh Kadar had parked his car near the Masjid last night. He found it missing from the spot this morning and lodged a complaint with the Margao police.

In another case, Arup Clement, resident of Borda, Margao, complained that his motorcycle worth Rs 16,000, which was parked in an open space in front of his house was gone. He said the theft occurred on the intervening the night of June 19 and 20.
