PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar Tuesday announced that additional portfolios would be allocated to his Cabinet colleagues on Monday.
“Additional portfolios would be given on Monday,” Parrikar told reporters here, but refused to get into details.
“Other than dropping or adding a minister, it can be anything,” he told media. The chief minister, however, refused to answer any queries on whether a reshuffle in portfolios was also on the cards.
Parrikar said he had spoken to his ministers and the first round view was completed while the second round would be done in a month. Ministers had been allotted two portfolios after the March 2012 swearing-in ceremony. The Cabinet has 12 ministers, including the chief minister.
