If you talk to the tourists who have descended in Goa for the final party of the year,
they will tell you how this is a ‘bucket list’ moment for them – celebrating
New Year’s Eve (NYE) in one of the countries favourite holiday destinations.
For many, across India and the world, Goa is the place to be on NYE and come
31st, everyone is talking about which party they will be going to.

With the state’s booming nightlife, set to
witness one of its biggest parties of the year, there’s an event planned at
every nook and corner to bring in the New Year and bid adieu to the year gone
by. What makes this party different from the others is the expectations from
the crowd, a party that should sign of the year in style, with the countdown
chanting as the clock strikes twelve midnight and being around their friends
and family at this time of the year that’s filled with nostalgia and promise.

Thus, every year, the hype preceding the
NYE parties is massive and every year, these parties do not fail to disappoint.
From LED shows, to fireworks, exotic décor, flair bartending, mesmerizing
performances, captivating acts and the best of DJs, dancers and bands, there’s
something for everyone.

“We have various parties planned across Goa, which can offer a
different experience to tourists at SinQ, Showbar, Soro and SinQ beach Morjim,
with international artistes,” says Sahil Adwalpalkar of SinQ Hospitality Group.

“We have the official FTV party at W Goa’s Rockpool. This won’t
be any regular party, but it will be about a crazy 360 degree experience that
has everything, says Amit Bakhale of Goodlife, while adding that Cohiba will be
off the hook.

The director of Tito’s, Ricardo Joseph De Souza added that there
would be special attention to celebrating NYE with its extended family, its
patrons in particular. Among the many events on the Tito’s lane is the Open Air
Party in association with VH1 .

“Brace yourselves to experience a larger than life celebration
combined with enchanting acts to ring in the New Year 2018. This will be a New
Year’s Eve part that urges you to unfold in the mystery of the surreal,” said
Sascha Lenz – Executive Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage, Grand Hyatt
Goa,

“We’ve always made sure we keeping adding that extra bit each
year from the artist line up to the production to the sound and lights and the
experience on the whole,” said Jonathan Jude, of Quicksands Events while
talking about their NYE party at Quinta de Valadares, Verna.

Roussel De Miranda of Hype Entertainment said they’re excited
about Carlyta Mouhini, the Indo-Brazilian pop star of Senhorita fame who will
be performing at their annual NYE party at Kesarval, Verna along with leading
Goan bands.

Mark Rodriguez of Storm7, who is promoting the NYE at Longuinhos
Colva, added that they expect to cater to a mixed crowd, from families, to
middle aged groups and all those who love music and want to have a good time

Ankith Kedar of Strobe Nightlife, who is curating the NYE party
at Suthern Deck in Benaulim said they are looking at creating a different
experience this time, on the back of their sucessful debut last year and have
handpicked some of the best acts for the night.

One
thing is bound to happen though, NYE will be a night no one will ever forget.
There are also those who seek to enjoy the night at lavish soirees and the
traditional burning of the old man, declarations of New Year resolutions among
other festive traditions.
