MARGAO: The case of looting and assault at Kharebandh has taken a new turn after a person named Akhilash filed a complaint of attempt to murder against the earlier complainant and two others. Three accused in this complaint have been booked for attempt to murder and have been given remanded in police custody for four days. The complainant Akhilash Nagwal (28) has alleged that he was stopped, assaulted with a blade and a coconut knife (Coito) and his hair was cut.
He named Akbar Malakarvi, Sadik Dodamani and Sagar Mane as the accused who looted him and has also claimed that one of the accused has filed a false complaint against him of looting Rs 5,000.
