I fully agree with the contents of letter on your esteemed newspaper dated August 28 by Ruth Henriques, regarding the treacherous condition of stretch of Swatantra Path in front of Ozler Forum at Vasco.
I work in one of the shops in the complex and recently a lady on her scooter while negotiating the potholes on the road filled with water was knocked down by a speeding scooter.
She landed into the dirty water with bruises and dislocations. There can be more serious accidents if it is not repaired immediately.
It may be noted that the road was dug up by the PWD to fix some pipes but was left it without closing it properly or leveling it.
When will the authorities wake up to their duties and make honest use of tax payer’s money?
